Mutiny on the Bounty Single Notecard
The 1935 film Mutiny on the Bounty was one of the most successtul movies ever filmed on Catalina Island. It won Oscar for Best Picture in 1936 and earned nominations for the Best Actor award for Clark Gable and Franchot Tone. This photograph was taken on set at the Isthmus. Tone and Gable are pictured on the far right.
